About Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital

Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) is a secondary-level referral hospital serving the northern region of the Maldives, specifically catering to a catchment population of over 72,000 people from the three northernmost atolls. It provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including emergency care, outpatient and inpatient care, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and dental care. The hospital has recently expanded its facilities with a new six-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a 15-bed pediatric ward, located in the newly constructed Kaani Wing. Additionally, KRH has launched a telemedicine pilot project in collaboration with Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and Faafu Atoll Hospital, enabling remote consultations and facilitating online posting of test result
